A story of How the Song I Need a Girl by Taeyang Happened
“Ahhhhhhhhh.......!!!!!”
GD throws the pen hard on the table. It is not like he doesn’t have
anything to do, but Taeyang asked him to write a song, a very special song.
Well, Taeyang is his best friend and with Taeyang he has gone through many
hardships together. Since his friend kindly asks for his help, he will and
gladly creates a nice song for Taeyang. From the note that Taeyang wrote, the
story is about a guy talking what kind of girlfriend he wants. That girl must
be so cute, but knows how to take care of their love. That girl must love him
(of course him is Taeyang, his song okay) and doesn’t cheat on him, proud to be
his girlfriend. GD smile because it seems like how eager Taeyang to have a
girlfriend, aigoo, so cute. For his bestfriend, he swears he will make a very
nice song for him.
GD walks to the bathroom, analyzing his cute face. “Well, my face is cute and adorable. No wonder
women, girls wailing for me, hehe.” GD is praising himself then he smile,
blushing. “What nonsense, haha.” he laughs at his own talk.
He takes a shower, then change to an exercise suit. It has been a month
GD does not go to the gym. He has being busy with many Big Bang’s schedule. He
has to take care of many things since he is the leader, hard job. Even his body
looks so thin nowadays, thanks to all his fans that keeps supporting him and
make his life wonderful. He always thinks like that, the fans that always stay
with him and makes him wants to contribute more as a gift to their supports. GD
changes his direction to the cafe. He thinks he needs to eat first, he is
hungry because of thinking.
Entering the cafe, he feels shocks. He sees Taeyang with someone he
really knows, it is Dara noona! What the h**k! GD take a deep breath, it is
really Dara noona with Taeyang. Is there something he doesn’t know? GD’s eyes
following them, Taeyang looks happy and Dara looks happy, too. As GD is far from
them, GD thinks both of them does not even realize he was here. GD walks to the
beverage section, picks a Cola and mineral water, then pay. He walks out and goes
to the gym.

Taeyang and Dara walks to the nearest table behind the wall. Taeyang
smile looking at their breakfast. Both ordered the same things. Actually, Dara
says she wants to treat him so he tells Dara to pick the same menu as her.
Taeyang: “Dara noona, what’s the reason you suddenly treat me?”
Dara: “Haish, so noisy! Youngbae yah, is it wrong for a noona to treat
her dongsaeng after what he did to her?”
Taeyang: “What he did to her?”
Dara: “Youngbae yah, you really such a bore. Just eat. I just want you
to company me here, okay.”
Dara feel annoying with the suspicious question from Taeyang, but she
feels like it is a must to treat Taeyang for what he did to her. Taeyang has
helped her when she has a problem with her car, and when she lost her phone Taeyang
helped her by borrowing his handphone to her. He even companied her to buy a
new handphone. Such a sweet dongsaeng! She has called GD at first, but every
time she did, the line engaged. Sometimes her calls reached the mailbox. GD is
so busy since he almost did everything by himself. She does not want to blame
him.
Taeyang: “Dara noona, are you mad?”
Dara: “Not at all. Actually I wanted to thank you for always helping me.
I was so lucky to have such a sweet dongsaeng and an adorable sunbaenim. I
heard that you want to do a solo album. How is everything? If you need my help
then just ask.”
Taeyang smile as he just got what he wished for. He wants to do a song
which telling about how he long for ‘this’ girl. He hopes Dara noona agree to
be the model in his music video when his song finish. He smiles and nods.

TOP wakes up from his sleeps. It almost noon, thank God they do not have
any schedules for today. He wants to
sleep more but suddenly he got a message. TOP checks his phone, then smiles. After
replying the message, he gets up and showers. He cleans himself perfectly then
looks at the mirror. He smiles again. He chooses the most suitable outfit. He
changes about 6 six times before he feels satisfied. Once again his phone
beeps. He must hurry, or else someone will punish him.

After sending the message, Daesung put his phone in the pocket. He is
hungry right now, he needs to eat. The first thing he did after wakes up (and
of course after he showers and change) is works out. The first place he goes is
the gym. Now he is hungry, and he does not even bring anything with him even a
snack. He sees GD enters the gym a while ago, and he thinks he will ask the
leader to go to the cafe together. He walks towards GD, but stops when he sees
him. GD looks tired. GD just sits at the bench and drinks Cola. Daesung feels
sorry for his leader. He walks towards him and sit besides GD.
“Hyuuuuung, you bought this for me? You are such a kind person, hehe”.
Daesung said jokingly and picks the mineral water. He drinks a little and looks
at his hyung. GD also looks at him and smiling.
“My gweowoe dongsaeng! Such a morning person you are, how long you have
been here, and.....why are you sooooo cute!!” GD looks at Daesung and pinches
his cheeks.
Daesung try to avoid but at last he just smile. This hyung really
pampers him so much, he owes GD hyung very much. Then Daesung asks GD, “Hyung
lets go get something to eat. I’m hungry and I don’t even have anything yet”.
Daesung plead and even do a puppy eyes in front of his hyung.
GD laughs at his cute little brother. Once again he pinches his dongsaeng’s
cheek and hugs him. Then GD lets go of Daesung from his hugs, looks at him and
smile. Then he looks at the front, his smile faded.
GD:” I don’t think I want to eat, mianhe Daesung ah.”
Daesung: “Wae yeo hyuuung.. You already eat? Just please company me, my
treat.”
GD: “Daesung ah.....”
GD looks at Daesung likes he wants to tell something, but then he just
looks away.
Daesung just keep silent because he knows his hyung has a problem. It just
he does not know what it is. He gets up and wants to go, but then he looks back
at his hyung. He does not want to leave him alone since his hyung is like this
so he sits back silently.

TOP walks fast to the restaurant. In his hand is a bouquet of flower. He
might hear someone’s scolds after this so he has prepared for everything, hehe.
When he arrives at the place, he searches for the person he wants to meet.
Suddenly, his phone rings. He wants to ignore it, but for the third time the
phone rings again. Daesung! He is kind of piss off looking at the name. What
the heck is this dongsaeng wants from him. Right now he has a date with Park
Bom, did his dongsaeng knows that he and Bom has never date for almost a month!
Stupid boy!
“Daesung ah, wae?” TOP answers the phone boldly, sounds a bit angry.
“Hyuung....ermm, can you come here, The Leopard Cafe at Hongdae?”.
Daesung’s voice sounds pleaded.
“Wae?! I’m busy right now.” TOP tries to
understand DaeSung's situation. TOP
walks in the restaurant, he sees Park Bom at the table behind a vase. Bom’s
face looks mad, but still cute to him. In Bom’s hand is a mini mirror, she is
looking at her face with the mirror. She tries to control her expression when a
waiter comes to her. TOP laughs a little when he looks at her reaction.
“Hyung... Jiyong hyung has problems right now. I don’t know what to do,
so I think I better tell you since he doesn’t want me to call Yongbae hyung.”
Daesung continues to talk to him.
‘Jiyong?’ TOP is wondering for a while. ‘What happened to him?’
TOP stops walking. Suddenly, she hears Park Bom’s voice shouts his name.
He does not know what to do. GD has a problem right now and needs him, but now
his lover is waiting for him to go and meet her. Once again Bom shouts his
name. He rushes to her table.

Dara arrives at the dorm. When she opens the door, she sees the leader
and the maknae are wrestling. ‘This two is always playing like that, what

CL tries to escape. CL tries to push Minzy at the back, at first she can’t, but
at the second push she did. Minzy heads bangs on the floor. Both quiet for a
moment, but after a while they laugh at each other.
“YAH! What are you doing?” Dara shouts at the girls since they don’t
even realize she is home.
CL and Minzy: “ Ah unnie, Annyeong!”
CL: “Unnie, I thought you were out? When did you come back? And what’s
that in your hand?”
Minzy just smile looking at them, maybe because her head hurts. CL
stands up and sees what is in Dara’s hand. Dara gives the plastic bag to CL,
shook her head and walks to her room. She’s tired, tired of waiting.
CL: “Oh it’s sashimi, wahhh, daebak Minzy yah. Dara unnie can I have
this?!”” CL shouts asking for the precious sashimi from her unnie.
Dara: “I bought that for both of you. Just eat and don’t disturb me, I’m
tired.”
CL and Minzy:” Arasseo wuli Dara unnie, saranghae!”
CL and Minzy are thanking Dara for the treat. They even do a cute voice
along with the talking. Dara who was in her room smiles thinking about her
dongsaeng. Suddenly, Dara heard someone slams the door, the front door. She is surprised
by the sudden loud sound and almost fell from her bed. Dara rush to the front
immediately. She hears Bommie unnie’s loud voice. She sounds like she is mad at
someone. Thank God those horribly loud sound not because of her dongsaengs
because she can’t control them, only Bommie unnie can. Bommie unnie is like a mom
to them.
“Bommie unnie, gweanchana? Wae yeo? Why are you behaving like this?”
Dara ask the big sister. Bom looks angry and she just glare at them. CL
and Minzy looks so scared and just keep quiet. Bom did not answer Dara’s
question, she just walk to the kitchen, searching for something. There is a corn
in her hand but she just look at it.
After a while Bom come out from the kitchen, eating the corn and her
face, turn to the original angel look. On her other hand is a glass of
chocolate drink and a magazine. The leader, the maknae and Dara feel relief.

“Jiyong ah, wae geurae? Gweanchana? What happened, palli marebwa.”
TOP asks the leader, his very best friend and the one he always calls maknae,
Jiyong. TOP looks concern, and keep looking at Jiyong’s face.
“Hyung, why are you here? Did you have a date with Bom today?” Jiyong
looks at the Big Brother who looks concern about him. He feels very pleased
very heart warming, but then he does not want to give any trouble to the
members. He does not want to disturb his member’s private routine because that
is what he keeps as a leader.
When TOP hears the words that come from his Jiyong, he feels like he
wants to strangle him at that moment. Hyung, why are you here? Why the damn is
he here? When he hears from Daesung that Jiyong looks so sad, when Daesung
plead him to come, when Daesung told him that Jiyong does not want to eat, when
Daesung told him Jiyong is like this, Jiyong is like that, Jiyong cheoreom
cheoreom, he rush here. He ramp his motorcycle here with the highest speed like
a suicide, luckily there is no police traffic. What more? He even has to tell
Bom that he needs to cancel their date. What else? He left his jagiya without
any explanations and rush here. And now Jiyong asks him, why he is here?
“Wait, how come you know about our date? And why I’m here because I know
you need me right now.”
TOP answers with a calm tone, readily to be positive and make sure that
Jiyong feels okay. But TOP is wondering how did Jiyong know about his date with
Park Bom? This little annoying kid! But TOP just keep calm and cool, sometimes
he gives a warm smile to Jiyong to make sure Jiyong does not sense his feeling,
and feels bad.
“Oh about that, she messaged me, asking where you are. I told her I
don’t know and I don’t even see you today. When I asked why she told me that
you left her in your date, hahaha. Opss mianhe hyung. I just wonder why you are
behaving like this. I’m still alive okay. You don’t need to worry about me, I’m
okay, jeongmal.
GD tries to persuade his hyung while smiling. He feels precious when his
hyung do that. He knows that TOP hyung really cares about him, always makes his
mood alive when he feels down. That is what makes them close.
“Arasseo, but when I come earlier, you shouldn’t have to sit still and
surprise. You should do this.” TOP jumps and jumps and hands up while screams
hyung hyung you are here. TOP also do the weird dance and funny faces.
GD laughs so hard when he sees that. He even fell from the chair while
laughing and tears comes from his eyes. He acts like a little boy who sees a
favourite funny cartoon. Yes, now Jiyong feels much better. Thanks to the Bingu
hyung.
“Yes, you should laugh like that, often. I think I know why you are
behaving like this. Jiyong ah, don’t feel so stress about things like that, and
more I don’t think that Yongbae know you also like her. Come let me treat you
something, something you like."
TOP takes GD’s hand, and then signals Daesung to follow them. Daesung
who is sitting still and keeps looking at them a while ago nods. Daesung gives
a smile to both hyung, he winks at TOP as he wants to say Good Job hyung!

Taeyang arrives at the dorm after having a breakfast with Sandara. As he
walks in, he sees only Seungri stays at home. Seungri is sitting at the sofa,
eating a bowl of cereal. On the table in front of him are a jug of ribena and a
bottle of mineral. Seungri’s eyes stuck to the television. Taeyang looks around
searching as he wish there will be another person besides them at this moment. Positively
Taeyang admit the situation where there is only him and the maknae. Taeyang
walks to the kitchen as he suddenly feels thirsty. Taeyang and Seungri are
watching the television together. No sound appears as they watch the
television, only the sound from the television fills the room. Taeyang who is
sitting at the kitchen table suddenly gets up and sits beside the maknae. Seungri cough as Taeyang take the mineral
water but Taeyang just take it and drink it. Seungri flustered.
“Hyung............”
Silence.
Suddenly Seungri’s handphone is ringing. He looks at the caller’s name,
stands up and walks to the kitchen.
“Arrasseo Daesung hyung” Seungri’s last word to the caller and nods
before he hung up. Then he messages someone, and smile as a mission has been
accomplished.

The trio, GD, TOP and Daesung appears at their dorm, smiling, full of
happy mood. The three of them keep laughing and making jokes. They sit at the
kitchen, eats their Mc Donald’s. Daesung switch on the television, searching for
his variety programmes, but it looks like there are none. Suddenly Taeyang
appears in front of them. He looks sleepy and disturbs. GD looks at his very
best friend and smiles.
“Where did you go?” Taeyang asks Jiyong. His voice sounds a bit concern.
Taeyang looks at TOP suspiciously, then Daesung. Daesung gives Taeyang a
pleasant innocent smile.
Jiyong does not answer him quickly. He just looks at Taeyang, and then
he continues eating. There is no sound at the moment.
Both TOP and Daesung look at GD and Taeyang. Then they look at each
other without making any sounds. TOP signals Daesung to go somewhere else with
him. The moment TOP and Daesung pick their foods and almost stand up, GD glare
at them as he trying to say DON’T MOVE, SIT STILL. Both of them sit and
continue eating.
Taeyang sigh looking at the situation. He turns around and walks away.
GD stares blankly at his Mc Flurry with an empty looks. Then he lands his head
at Daesung’s shoulder, and closes his eyes.

Dara looks outside of the window. The rain pours the night land. She
stares at the dark through the rain. She sings Lonely and smiles, and then
wondering why she smiles. She picks her phone and read the message again. GD messaged
her, says that he misses her and he wants her to take care. Dara smiles, a very
big smile. She looks at the ring in her finger and kisses it.

The next morning, Taeyang enters GD’s room. The leader sleeps at his
table, again. Taeyang walks slowly at GD’s bed and picks a blanket. He then
again slowly walks to GD and covers him with the blanket. Yesterday, he keeps
worrying about GD since he can’t even reach him everywhere. This leader also
did not pick up his phone when he calls him. Taeyang knew something has
happened that makes the leaders act like this. Taeyang looks around the room.
He sighs because he knew GD did not sleep last night. The bed looks neat and
clean, and the main point is GD does not change his clothes. Suddenly his eyes
catches something at the table, a paper with arranges words. Something likes
lyrics. He picks the paper and read it.

Taeyang feels touched thinking that GD spends the night to make the
lyric for him. At that moment he feels like he wants to hugs GD, but he does
not want to disturb GD’s sleeps. Taeyang put back the paper, slowly walks to
the door and leaves the room.

Daesung wakes up early as usual, next week he will continue his role as
the youngest in Family Outing. Since he feels unwell nowadays because of fever
he has asked his maknae, Seungri to replace him for a while. Luckily Seungri
loves doing variety and gladly accepted his request. He has been busy with Big Bang’s
schedule nowadays, and when he feels free he has been caught by a fever. He
really misses his family at Family Outing. He misses his dumb and dumber brother,

them all.
Daesung walks to the kitchen and makes a cup of coffee and sandwiches.

looks so tired. Since Daesung feelings unwell that day, he needs to replaces
him at Family Outing variety show. He feels glad when Daesung asks him to go to
the Family Outing programme. It has been a while he never been to any outdoor
activities. Furthermore, he really loves doing variety show. But when he goes
there at first he feels a bit relief because everyone looks so welcoming, but
then HyunJoong hyung appearance really makes him feels likes a redundant
person. He feels like shrinking there. Fortunately, everything went well, but
now he feels tired, so tired, and beated.
As Seungri walks in, he looks at both of his hyungs, TOP and Daesung are
happily laughing at their own jokes. Both of them are nonsense, an alien and a
gag man. He is wondering where is Taeyang and GD since they are not here. Well,
maybe GD is at his room writing a new songs and Taeyang is sleeping in his room
too. Seungri towards his room, he wants to sleep too. Tomorrow they have a
schedule in Japan. He needs some rest too.
